OpenDemand Enrolls New OpenLoad Reseller at Richmond ColdFusion User Group Performance Testing Presentation

Newark, New Jersey - March 6, 2002

On February 14th, 2002, OpenDemand Systems’ founder and CEO, Donald Doane, addressed the Richmond ColdFusion User Group, educating them on the need to load/stress test applications and sites developed using ColdFusion. The resonating message was to perform such tests "early and often" to achieve optimum system performance.

Doane’s presentation was a combination of industry leading practices, real world case studies, and OpenDemand’s propriety load testing tool, OpenLoad. The lecture demonstrated the need for load/stress testing while displaying OpenLoad’s seamless ability to test ColdFusion applications in any environment.

After seeing the simplicity of OpenLoad in action, Robert Baird, Manager of the Richmond CF User Group and Robert Baird II, President of Baird Technology Group, Inc. were completely sold on the product. The group’s attendees included members of Media General, the Richmond Federal Reserve, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
