Newark, New Jersey- April 27, 2002 Doane will participate in the seminar's 'Digitizing Your Business' panel discussion to lend his experience and expertise on the benefits of performance testing for business systems. Doane's company is the first of its kind to offer a completely web-based performance testing tool. The product, OpenLoad 2.0, has quickly gained industry-wide support and has been praised for its ease-of-use and feature rich testing options. The Blacks In Technology seminar series has been touted as a landmark event that is designed to bring the nation's leading technology companies in contact with the increasing number of African American entrepreneurs and professionals. "It is an honor for me to have been chosen to participate in such a momentous event," said Doane. "The Blacks In Technology seminar and exhibition series is a wonderful opportunity for members of the technology industry to gather and learn about exciting new developments that will be changing the shape of business," continued Doane. New technology, products, services and business solutions will all be featured at the conference and expo where small business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate professionals will be searching for new and innovative ways to enable businesses to operate more efficiently and cost effectively. Doane's company, Open Demand Systems, recently unveiled the industry's first completely browser-based load testing application, which stimulates virtual users and instantly generates results on-line, graphically and in real-time. Doane stressed the importance of load testing on all business systems. "The majority of performance issues are caused by poor design or coding implementations," said Doane. "Through load testing, such issues can be identified early on before they become too costly to resolve." The Blacks In Technology seminar will be held in New York May 10 - 11th at the Jacob Javits Center. Special guest speakers will include Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, B. Smith of B. Smith Enterprises, Magic Johnson, Black Enterprise founder Earl Graves, Black Planet founder Omar Wasow and Black Voices founder Barry Cooper. Doane's panel discussion will be held on May 11th from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. For more information on this event, visit www.blacksintechnology.com or contact OpenDemand at 973.735.0547.
