OpenDemand Systems, Inc. Adds Vice President of Sales and Business Development to Management Team

OpenDemand Systems, the premier provider of automated performance management solutions for web applications, announced today that Willie Williams has joined the management team as Vice President of Sales and Business Development, effective July 18th.

Williams brings over 14 years of sales experience in selling IT solutions and has held various senior-level, executive positions over the course of his career at companies such as iXsystems (formerly BSDi), Secant Technologies, Select Software Tools, Logic Works, Computer Associates and IBM.

Prior to OpenDemand, Williams served as the East Coast District Sales Manager for iXsystems, a leading provider of Internet servers, appliances and operating systems for ISPs, ASPs and content providers. His region leads the company in sales, having completed $2.5 million of a $4.5 million target over Q1 of 2001. He is personally responsible for signing up key accounts such as About.Com, Ask Jeeves, StarMedia and BroadBand2Wireless.

Over the years, Mr. Williams roles have included Regional Sales Manager, Director of Intercontinental Sales and Director of Sales Engineering, and has been responsible for developing sales/marketing strategies, personnel recruitment, territory management, lead generation, direct sales, reseller management, business development and distributor channels.
