OpenDemand Systems, Inc. Earns Opportunity to Participate in EVN i-DealFlow Forum NE 2002

Newark, New Jersey- September 4, 2002
OpenDemand Systems, a provider of software products and services that help enterprises deploying business critical web applications identify performance bottlenecks long before revenue or employee productivity is negatively impacted, has been selected to participate in the EVN i-DealFlow Forum NE 2002, a minority venture capital forum to be held September 5, 2002 at the Columbia University in New York, NY. OpenDemand is one of 16 participants selected for an opportunity to present to venture capitalists and angel investors at this unique event.

To qualify, OpenDemand participated in a rigorous screening process, including an in-person interview session, and a thorough business plan review by leading venture capitalists and industry service providers from firms including, Goldman Sachs, TDF - Telecommunications Development Fund, AOL Time Warner Opportunity Fund, Warburg Pincus, Piper Rudnick LLP, and Edwards & Angell LLP, Opportunity Capital Partners LLC among others. Additionally, Donald Doane, CEO, OpenDemand was required to attend a full-day boot camp hosted by EVN on July 24, 2002.

At the boot camp, Mr. Doane worked with venture capitalists and knowledgeable professional services providers on developing an effective, well-structured presentation, communicating effectively with venture capitalists and making the best business case for equity funding. Mr. Doane was also paired with a coaching team to provide support throughout the process.
